CoworkRestore is a macOS menu-bar app made by Ongoing Things UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (Ongoing Things), Boyenstraße 36, 10115 Berlin, Germany. HRB 272556 B. Using the app or the website at https://coworkrestore.com means you agree to these terms.

When you install CoworkRestore it opens with a 7-day evaluation period in which you can track unlimited projects - the full app, no card required, no surprise paywalls. When the period ends, the app keeps working for free with one tracked project, indefinitely. To go back to unlimited projects, buy a licence at any time; we don't penalise early purchases.

A one-time purchase of CoworkRestore is a perpetual licence that unlocks unlimited tracked projects on the number of Macs covered by your tier (1 or 3 devices). The first year of updates is included. After that, you can keep using the version you have indefinitely, or renew updates for another year at 40% off - the renewal discount stays available even if you skip a year. The plain-English version lives on the Perpetual License page; rolling out to a larger team is handled through Pricing → Teams.

Change your mind within 14 days of purchase? Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout. You don't need a reason. Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, returns the money to your original method within 14 days and the licence is deactivated.

After the 14-day window, refunds are at our discretion - tell us what happened and we'll be fair. Volume / team purchases can be refunded as a whole within the same window provided none of the seats have been used in production; individual activated seats within a team licence are not refundable on their own. Update renewals are non-refundable once the new update period has begun; your underlying perpetual licence is unaffected.

Personal licences are tied to you, not the Mac. Deauthorise a machine and activate a different one at any time through the in-app licence settings, within your seat count. Team licences may be transferred between members of the same organisation.

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where applicable law expressly allows.
• Share your licence key publicly, resell it, or use a circumvented one.
• Run the app on more Macs than your tier covers, or otherwise bypass the seat count.
• Use the app to break the law.

CoworkRestore runs entirely on your Mac. Snapshots of your project folders stay on your machine - we never receive them, and we have no cloud where they could land. The website uses no cookies. Anonymous in-app analytics can be switched off in the app's settings at any time. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Within your update period, the app periodically checks for new releases and prompts you to install them. You can decline an update; the app keeps working in its current form. We won't change file formats or remove features in a way that forces a renewal.

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. CoworkRestore is a safety net - always keep an independent backup of important work. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

These terms are governed by German law. Disputes go to the courts of Berlin, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

We may update these terms occasionally. The version on this page is always the current one, and the "Last updated" date tells you when it last changed. Material changes will also be announced inside the app.
